 இந்திய பெண் அஞ்சலி பரத்வாஜூக்கு ஊழல் தடுப்பு விருது

அமெரிக்காவில் புதிதாக ஆட்சி பொறுப்பேற்றுள்ள ஜனாதிபதி ஜோ பைடன் நிர்வாகம், சர்வதேச ஊழல் தடுப்பு சாம்பியன் விருது என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு விருதை புதிதாக ஏற்படுத்தி உள்ளது. இந்த விருதுக்கு இந்திய பெண் சமூக ஆர்வலர் அஞ்சலி பரத்வாஜ் (வயது 48) உள்ளிட்ட 12 பேர் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

இந்தப் பெண் தகவல் அறியும் உரிமை இயக்கத்தில் 20 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேலாக பணியாற்றி வருவதாக அமெரிக்க வெளியுறவு மந்திரி டோனி பிளிங்கன் கூறுகிறார். இந்தியப் பெண் சமூக ஆர்வலர் அஞ்சலி பரத்வாஜ், டெல்லியில் சதார்க் நகரிக் சங்காதன் என்ற அமைப்பை நிறுவி உள்ளார். இந்த அமைப்பு, நிர்வாகத்தில் வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையை கொண்டு வரவும், பொறுப்பு கூற வைக்கவும், பொதுமக்களின் சுறுசுறுப்பான பங்களிப்பை ஊக்குவிக்கிறது.
