Applications are invited only through online mode upto 16.12.2017 for Direct Recruitment to the following posts included in the Combined Engineering Services Examination. It is mandatory for the applicants to register their basic particulars through One - Time online Registration system on payment of Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) towards registration fee and then should apply online for this recruitment. [The One-Time Registration will be valid for 5 years from the date of registration. Thereafter, the registration should be renewed by paying the prescribed fee.]

Scale of Pay: 

• Post No 1 to 7: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
• Post No 8: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-

Age Limit: 

• 30 Years For OC 
• 32 years For MBC’s/DC’s, BC’s, BCM’s
• 35 years For SC’s, SC(A)’s, ST’s.

Educational Qualification: SSLC

Mode of Selection: Based on Written Test

What is Pattern of Exam?

• Single paper in General Studies (75 GK + 25 Aptitude) + General Tamil (100) (SSLC Standard – Objective Type )

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours

Maximum Marks: 300

The question on General Studies will be set in both English and Tamil.

Examination Fee: 

• Rs.250/- (Examination Fee Rs.100 /- + One Time Registration Rs.150/-) 

No Examination fee for SC/SCA/ST candidates. But they are no exemption for Cost of One Time Registration Fee Rs.150/-

Mode of Payment: On-line Payment/Off-line Payment

• On-line Payment (Net Banking, Credit card/Debit card)
