Project Title: Regenerative Electric Vehicles with Swapping of Batteries and Integrated Cooling System Using Arduino Microcontroller

Funding Agency: Chief Minister’s Research Grant (CMRG)

Department: Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University College of Engineering Pannuti

Qualifications Required: Candidates must hold one of the following degrees:

  • M.E. in Power Systems Engineering
  • M.E./M.Tech. in Power Electronics and Drives
  • M.E./M.Tech. in Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Science and Engineering

Salary: Consolidated Pay: ₹25,000 per month


Note: This is a temporary position extendable based on performance.

The Office of Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (ICSR) at IIT Madras is inviting applications for the temporary post of Project Associate in the Department of Civil Engineering. This is a great opportunity for engineering graduates with experience in CAD modelling and prototyping.

Post Name: Project Associate

Qualification: Minimum UG in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Aerospace or related fields).

Preferred: Experience with CAD modelling using SolidWorks or similar software.

Preferred: Experience with lab work and prototyping.

Salary: Rs. 21,500/- to Rs. 27,500/- per month (depending on skill level and experience).

Job Description:
  • CAD modelling of robotics and mechanism-based structures.
  • Use of software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, etc.
  • Hands-on skills for physical prototyping (3D printing, sheet/metal cutting).
  • Attending meetings and preparing reports.
  • Duration: Initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance and requirement.
