Salary / Fellowship
- ₹67,000 per month

Qualification
1. Eligibility Criteria – Post Code CEOAS-MM-III-PS-03
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree (minimum 60%) in Meteorology / Oceanography / Atmospheric Sciences / Earth Sciences / Climate Sciences / Physics / Geophysics / Mathematics OR
- M.Tech in Atmospheric Sciences / Ocean Sciences / Modelling & Simulation / Meteorology / Earth Sciences
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in data assimilation, coupled ocean-atmospheric models, numerical weather prediction, or AI/ML applications in atmospheric or ocean sciences.
2. Eligibility Criteria – Post Code CEOAS-MM-III-PS-04
- Master’s Degree (minimum 60%) in Computer / Computational Science, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Physics, Meteorology or related fields OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (minimum 60%) OR
- MS in Interdisciplinary Studies (minimum 60%)
Experience: Minimum 3 years in application/system software or HPC system/network administration.
Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in relevant disciplines
- Experience in data assimilation and coupled general circulation models
- Programming skills in Python, FORTRAN, C/C++ and shell scripting
- Experience with HPC, parallel computing, NetCDF, HDF, GRIB data formats
- Knowledge of GrADS, FERRET, NCL, NCO, CDO tools
Age Limit
Maximum 40 years as on the last date of application.
