Bharathiar University invites applications for the post of Project Assistant in the Department of Microbial Biotechnology under the Chief Minister's Research Grant (CMRG) scheme funded by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Position Details

Name of the Post: Project Assistant (1 position)

Fellowship Duration: 2 years 6 months

Fellowship Amount: Rs.25,000/- per month (Fixed, as per CMRG guidelines)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: M.Sc/M.Phil. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Industrial Biotechnology, or Zoology with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).

Desirable Qualification: GATE/NET qualification.

Additional Preference: Candidates with hands-on experience in handling Actinobacteria and conducting proteomic analysis.
