Age Limit : Candidates should not have completed 57 years as on 01-07-2019
Salary: Rs.36900-116600/-
Examination Fee
The Examination fee is Rs.500/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability.
For SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates, the examination fee is Rs. 250/- Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Person with Disability category. Once the payment is made, it will not be refunded.

Educational Qualifications:
i) Graduate degree B.A./B.Sc. with
Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, History and
Geography as Major subjects obtained from a recognized University.
ii) The Candidate should possess the Professional qualification ie. B.Ed degree obtained from a recognized University.

Scheme of Examination:
i . The Online Computer Based Examination will consist of a single paper of 3 hours duration with 150 MCQs. Each question carries one mark. The marks allotted to the Main Subject, General Knowledge and Education Methodology.
a. General Paper comprising of subjects (Tamil, English, mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, History, and Geography - 150 Questions
b. General Knowledge - 10 Questions
c. Education Methodology - 30 Questions

The Selection will be made in two successive stages viz.,
(a) Online Computer Based Examination
(b) Certificate Verification.
