Scale of Pay: Rs.8100-18070/-

Age Limit: as on 01.07.2017 - 18-25 years ( Age relaxation shall be as per GOI rules)

Qualification: 8th Standard Pass

Mode of Selection: Based on Written Test and  followed by Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Subject: The written test shall be held in Tamil/Hindi/English language in the Offline mode (Objective type). The said test shall be of 2 hours duration and shall have 100 Objective type questions with Multiple Choice Answers. The subject wise weightage of question papers are as given

below:-

• General Knowledge - 25%
• Current Affairs - 25%
• Mathematics - 25%
• English Language & Grammar - 25%

PHYSICAL ENDURANCE TEST (PET)

FOR MALE CANDIDATES

• Running- 1000 Meter in 05 minutes 30 seconds
• Long Jump- 4.000 Meter
• High Jump- 1.35 Meter

FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES

• Running- 800 Meter in 05 minutes
• Long Jump- 3.000 Meter
• High Jump- 1.00 Mete
