The Indian Navy will take part in Malabar exercise with the US, Japanese and Australian navies which will be held off the coast of Sydney in Australia. The last Malabar exercise was held in the East China Sea.
Hints of Malabar naval exercise
- It was started in 1992 as a bilateral naval exercise between India and US navy.
- The first Malabar Exercise in the Bay of Bengal took place in 2007.
