இந்தியா, நேபாள நாடுகளின் ராணுவம் இடையே ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் கூட்டு ராணுவ ஒத்திகை நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இதன்படி, 12 வது இந்தியா-நேபாள ராணுவ கூட்டு ஒத்திகை நேபாளத் தலைநகர் காத்மாண்டுவில் கடந்த ஆண்டு 2017 - ல் நடைபெற்றது.

13 வது இந்தியா-நேபாள ராணுவ கூட்டு ஒத்திகை உத்தரகண்ட் மாநிலம், பிதோராகரில் விரைவில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது. இதற்கான ஒப்பந்தத்தில், நேபாள பாதுகாப்புத் துறை அமைச்சராக புதியதாக பதவியேற்ற ஈஸ்வர் போகரேல் கையெழுத்திட்டார்.
இந்த ஒத்திகையின்போது, இரு நாட்டு ராணுவத்தினரும், வனப்பகுதியில் சண்டையிடுவது, தீவிரவாத எதிர்ப்பு நடவடிக்கை, பேரிடர் மீட்பு நடவடிக்கை போன்றவை தொடர்பான பயிற்சிகளில் ஈடுபடவுள்ளனர்.
நேபாள ராணுவ தின கொண்டாட்ட நிகழ்ச்சியில் இந்திய ராணுவ தலைமைத் தளபதி விபின் ராவத் அண்மையில் கலந்து கொண்டார்.

13th edition of annual India-Nepal Surya Kiran joint military exercise (Surya Kiran) - Uttarakhand

The 13th edition of the Nepal-India joint military exercise will be held in Pithoragarh in a couple of months. This is a regular military exercise being organised annually between the two armies, said the defence ministry sources and will include training on jungle warfare, anti-terrorism National Disaster Management combat as well as disaster response activities.
In 2017, the 12th edition of Surya Kiran Military exercise was held in Kathmandu.
Nepal's newly-appointed Defence Minister Ishwor Pokharel after assuming office on Monday signed an agreement to launch Surya Kiran Nepal – India Military Joint Exercise.
