Length of Coastline of Indian mainland in 6000 km.
It has coastline of about 7,516 km inclusive of the main land, Lakshadweep,
India position is favourable for trade, commerce and economic activities by connecting India Europe through Suez Canal and also with China, Japan and Australia through Malaccan Strait.
