Govt To Rename NIFM To Arun Jaitley National Institute Of Financial Management
The government has decided to rename National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), Faridabad, as Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management. Set up in 1993 as a registered society under the Department of Expenditure, NIFM trains officers of Finance and Accounts Services recruited by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) as also officers of Indian Cost Accounts Service.

  • US President Donald Trump will make his first official visit to India later this month On 24-25 February capping weeks of speculation on the trip that is expected to witness deepening of defence cooperation and signing of a trade pact.
  • Trump will be the fourth consecutive US president to visit India since Bill Clinton’s trip in 2000. Clinton’s successor, George H.W. Bush, visited in 2006 and Trump’s predecessor, Barack Obama, came twice—in 2010 and 2015. 
Haryana Govt Launched " Reading Mission-Haryana "
Reading Mission- Haryana has been launched by the state government to inculcate reading habits and social values among students. To inculcate reading habit among students, the 'Reading Mission- Haryana' has been initiated by the state government, Education Minister Kanwar Pal. "The mission has been launched on the lines of the central government's 'Reading Mission 2022', which aims to address the lost glory of reading books," the education minister said in a release.

Mehta, who represented the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) in the clash on 9th February, 2020, started off with a bang after wining the first frame with a break of 103 while the score remained 103-17.

India's star striker Lalremsiami  became the first women's hockey player from the country to win the FIH Rising Star of the Year award. The 19-year-old Lalremsiami from Mizoram joined Vivek Sagar Prasad, who became the first men's player from India to win the award earlier on the same day.
